One of the oldest and most well-established HR/OD Consulting and Outsource firms, HRS serves employer clients of all sizes.  Our flexible, scalable solutions allow "employers of choice" and emerging employers the freedom of selecting only those services which suit their needs. 

 

Multi-national major market employers enjoy our management consulting competencies, third party objectivity and also the HRSAC.  Through the HRSAC, "employers of choice" may expertly assess without bias top incumbent talent competing for promotion.   Small to mid-size employers enjoy our external HR department with both on and off site utilization, "on call" or part-time.  Employers of all sizes call upon us for workshops, team/leader development, recruitment, job descriptions, policies/practices, human capital analysis and strategic planning to attract, engage and retain developable talent with bottom line impact and within legal compliance.  Neither employers acting alone nor conventional employment services can even begin to compete with the success of our recruitment and assessment programs.

History

After several years of planning, HRS opened its doors in 1983 as a comprehensive employer resource for HR Management and Organizational Development planning and implementation.  HRS entered the market without direct competition, and quite frankly, probably too early!   Our long established roots have now earned us the advantage of long established successes, impossible for others to surpass.  No one has been doing it longer or better than HRS!   We have earned our growth simply because our clients don't leave, they prosper, and they refer their colleagues.  We are highly respected and consistently ranked among the top management consulting firms in the US simply because we have pioneered so many technologies and initiatives now emulated globally. 

While corporate HR departments were still rare and temp services were thriving, HRS, the "anti-temp" service, was advocating employee retention and the impacts of HR and OD upon the corporate bottom line.  Consistently called upon as experts by the media and business community, we remain among the first to continually prove the link between the human and financial resources. 

While most companies were operating with Personnel Departments, as opposed to, true Human Resources Departments, we were pioneering with our clients, studying employer findings across the board and generally breaking new ground.   While most educational institutions were still not offering HR curriculum, our President & CEO, Jessica Ollenburg was receiving one of the first offered HR specialist degrees and continuing with graduate studies in business administration, law and industrial psychology. 

When HR was still not finding executive audience with many firms, we were proud to boast one of the earliest international certifications at executive level work. It is difficult to find more experience in the workplace than that offered by HRS!  We have supported top executives and expert corporate HR professionals in successful quantifiable human capital optimizations.

HR represents the newer technology of Personnel, operating within dramatically changed legal and employment environments, increased corporate investment and a significant change in the scope, applicability and complexity of issues. Successful growing firms now recognize the bottom line effect of HR practices, turnover reduction, productivity maximization and legal risk management. We have put our best effort forth to create the awareness, and we have earned the successes!
